Now that 2024 is over, there’s a lot to look back on.

New friends, new experiences, and new discoveries.

One thing I discovered this year was the true importance of good technology: surrounding yourself with apps that help you instead of hurt you.

Here’s a roundup of the four most valuable apps I used this year, and how I plan to use them in the many years to come.

4. Notion

Notion has been a staple in my life since 2022.

It’s essentially a productivity dashboard app/website I use to organize pretty much everything, from deadlines to projects to this very blog.

I’ve written and published dozens of articles on the app and basically sworn by it, but towards the end of this year, I found an app that might just do the impossible: replace Notion.

And that app is Capacities.

I tried it out and wrote an article on it back in October, and was pretty blown away.

So while I’m continuing using Notion into 2025, there might just be a switch in the near future.

3. Google Calendar
