5 Simple Environment Changes to Fix Your Focus
Your outside really does determine your inside
If you work in a place filled with distractions, you get distracted.
It’s as simple as that.
Here’s how to build a clean, focused, and distraction-free environment so you can actually get things done.
Put Your Phone Far, Far Away
Don’t charge your phone right next to your bed or right next to your desk.
This makes it way too easy to succumb to doomscrolling instead of studying or instead of going to sleep.
Whenever you’re doing something that requires focus, make sure your phone is physically far away enough that you would have to stand up and walk to reach it.
It seems simple and trivial, but a few extra feet of space can make the difference between a productive day and a wasted one.
Make Your Bed Every Morning
Again — it seems like a small habit.
But even if you don’t clean any other part of your room, if you just make the bed, it will look at least ten times cleaner — and that makes you feel more focused and organized.
