Learning is one of the greatest joys of life.

Sadly, though, not a lot of people realize that — decades of school and homework and tests and stress have turned ‘learning’ into a vile and wicked monster.

But it’s not.

And if you’re starting to realize that, then you’re in the right place.

Here’s a quick guide on the practical steps you need to take to start learning anything you want.

1. Identify what you want to learn

There are an infinite amount of things you can learn(thinking about it is humbling, mind boggling, and depressing), but you probably have some sort of idea of what you might be interested in.

Maybe it’s game development and coding or drawing or Chinese or Photoshop or photography or organic chemistry.

If you just know you want to learn something to enrich your life, but really don’t know what, check out this for ideas.

Now, try to narrow it down.

You’ll set some more specific goals for yourself later, but you want to get pretty precise here, too.
