How To Get Your Life Together
In three simple(but not easy) steps
There’s a lot of advice out there on getting your life together, being productive, and becoming that person.
But a lot of that advice is convoluted, long, and contradicting.
It’s hard to discern exactly what to do: what’s important and what’s just fancy useless crap?
Here’s your answer: the three things you need to finally pull yourself out of that half-alive slump.
1. Purge your distractions
We are all distracted.
It’s practically impossible not to be, and the worst part is that it’s so enjoyable.
I mean, there’s a reason we can’t put our phones down: all the dopamine, the notifications, the funny videos and mobile games, they’re all really fun.
Until you finally rip yourself away from your screen and take a look around you and realize that you’ve been sitting in the dark for the past four hours, hunched over a little box, while all the things you thought you would get done today move a bit further down your to-do-list.
Yeah. Not so fun.
The first thing you have to do to ‘upgrade’ yourself, to get yourself back on track, is to go distraction-free.
